BIG privet hedge reduction, including all waste removed and disposed of 🌿🛻

Privet can be a menace and sometimes needs trimming 3 times a year! However, the great thing is, it recovers really well from hard cut backs.

Autumn & Winter is the time to prune Apple & Pear trees. 🍎🌳

The method we use is the 5 D’s, removing the:
-Dead
-Diseased
-Damaged
-Dangerous
and… Damn ugly stems

We then look at removing any crossing branches that will rub in the wind, which also will open up the centre and increase airflow. Finally any shoots can be pruned back to 2 to 3 buds.

The result: a healthier, more aesthetically pleasing tree that will produce some fantastic fruit next season!

New border for a new build. 🤷🏻‍♂️🏠

New border created on this new build garden. Unfortunately the soil is a typical 50/50 clay rubble mix. So after de-turfing we rotivated the area multiple times, removing large stones and plastic builders waste, then added in a huge amount of organic compost.

Followed by planting a selection of tree, plants and bulbs 🌿🌹

Site Winter Visits 🍁🥶

Although everything has stopped growing there is still plenty to be done to keep your site tidy, clean and safe.
